Bvlgari to Open New Luxury Resort in Maldives

Bulgari Hotels & Resorts has announced its plans for the 2025 opening of Bulgari Resort Ranfushi in Maldives.

The facility in Maldives will be the thirteenth premium project of the Italian company since its initial establishment in Milan.

On the Raa Atoll in the Maldives archipelago, Bulgari Resort Ranfushi will have 20 hectares of pristine natural beauty.

As with previous Bulgari Hotels & Resorts locations, the Resort will be designed by Italian architectural firm ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and will adhere to the highest environmental requirements in all areas.

In addition to 43 rooms, Bulgari’s newest resort will feature 33 beach villas with private pools on 20 hectares of Maldives’ most exclusive property. It will be a store where Bulgari jewelry and accessories are sold, as well as various flamboyant facilities.

A private Bulgari Villa on its own island boasts 54 keys including 33 beachfront villas with separate swimming pools and 20 overwater villas, surrounded by crystal blue seas and beautiful gardens.

The resort will feature four iconic Bulgari restaurants: Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, fine Chinese restaurant Bao Li Xuan, Japanese concept Hseki and cozy La Spiaggia.

It will also include famous Bulgari Hotels & Resorts venues such as Bulgari Bar, Bulgari Spa, Bulgari shop and La Galleria.

Similar to LVMH, Ralph Lauren, Versace, and Armani, hospitality and high-end hotels have become brand extensions to cater to discerning clients. Other hotels offer suites with designer décor, such as the Dior Suite at the Regis Hotel in New York and the Diane Von Furstenberg suite at Claridge’s in London.

“We are particularly pleased to purchase such an outstanding site for the new Bulgari Resort Ranfushi, as the Maldives is an important dream destination for our international customers,” said Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bulgari. “We are confident that this new hospitality gem will once again ensure the highest standards of quality and creativity for our customers worldwide, and we look forward to sharing the Bulgari values in hospitality with them in this new, highly exclusive location.”
